about jen
My lifelong passion for animals began in childhood and evolved into a dedicated career. I've spent much of my adult life volunteering with rescue groups, particularly focusing on fostering senior and medically needy dogs. This experience has given me unique insights into their care, and I believe deeply in providing a loving final chapter for these dogs.

After twenty years in government work, I pursued my dream of working full-time with animals. I completed a 300-hour mentorship with Canis Bodyworks, achieving certification in Canine Massage Therapy, followed by national certification from the NBCAAM. I also graduated from the University of Vermont's Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula Professional Certification course and hold certifications in Pet CPR and First Aid.

I am committed to continuing my education in animal care, aiming to provide comfort and healing while educating pet parents. My approach is holistic, focusing on physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time near water, and traveling. My journey reflects my dedication to animal welfare and my pursuit of knowledge to improve the lives of animals and their human companions.
